The choir of St Salvator’s Chapel from the University of St Andrews visited Bute on Monday to give a short choral performance in the Marble Hall at Mount Stuart.

Their programme on Monday included a selection of sacred music by Anton Bruckner and Robert Parsons and arrangements of Scottish, Irish and English folk songs, as well as two organ solos featuring works by Johannes Brahms and John Stanley.

Our video clip features the choir’s performance of the Robert Burns song, Ye Banks and Braes o’ Bonnie Doon - one of several from their concert programme to be included on a new CD to be recorded by the choir later this week.
