BBC Radio Scotland’s Big Debate programme was broadcast live from Rothesay Pavilion on Friday.

Presenter Gordon Brewer fielded questions from the audience on the independence referendum, military intervention in Iraq, the viability of Scotland’s high streets and the Scottish Government’s introduction of RET ferry fares, each of which resulted in a lively discussion between the panel and the audience.

Friday’s panel members were Alan Reid, the Liberal Democrat MP for Argyll and Bute, Isobel Lindsay from Women for Independence, former Labour MSP Pauline McNeill and Ivan McKee from the Business for Scotland campaign.

If you missed the programme - which featured more than a few familiar voices in the audience - it can be found on the BBC’s iPlayer until next Friday, June 27.
