Rain? What rain?

Waiting for Video...

The sun may not have been shining on Sunday, May 18, and the rain may have been pelting it down, but those at the official opening of Project Play Park’s newest facility behind Rothesay Leisure Centre barely seemed to notice it.

With hot food on offer, music, face-painting and other games, the town’s children simply donned their wellies and anoraks and got stuck into having a fantastic time.

Master of Ceremonies Douglas ‘Big Dougie’ Lyle kept everyone informed and entertained, and after Provost of Argyll and Bute, Len Scoullar, cut the ribbon to the park’s gate, Dougie led everyone in a conga-line around the site.
