Members of the Isle of Bute Artists’ Collective will be showing a sneak preview of some of the work earmarked for their 2014 Bute Studio Trail during this weekend’s Isle of Bute Jazz Festival.

The preview, at Rothesay Pavilion, is expected to bring the work of the group to a whole new audience in the form of jazz fans from throughout Britain and beyond.

Details of who and what will be on show at this weekend’s preview are being kept closely under wraps, though anyone who has visited IBAC members’ studios during the annual Bute Studio Trail event will be able to confirm that the preview is well worth seeking out - even if you’re not going to the jazz!

Entry to the preview is free and the opening hours are from 5-8pm on Friday, May 2, from 1-6pm on Saturday, May 3 and from 3-7pm on Sunday, May 4.

This year’s Bute Studio Trail takes place on the weekend of September 27 and 28 and is expected to showcase the work of 21 IBAC members at 13 studios around the island.
