Police make drug arrests on Bute

Five people have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal for being in possession of cannabis in three separate incidents on Bute in the past week.

Five people have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal for being in possession of cannabis in three separate incidents on Bute in the past week.

 

A number of arrests by Rothesay police were made in the past week relating to drug offences on Bute.

A 23-year-old man has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal, after a stop and search in Albert Pier at 7.40pm on January 14 revealed he was in possession of a quantity of cannabis, while three men were the subject of a report for being in possession of a small quantity of cannabis at Port Bannatyne on January 18.

A search of a 24-year-old man at the car park at Ettrick Bay shortly after midnight on January 21 also uncovered a quantity of cannabis.
