A lorry ended up on its side after crashing off the road and on to a beach on Bute on Monday morning.
The vehicle, which bore the branding of the 3663 catering distribution company, left the A886 between Ettrickdale and Ardmaleish, north of Port Bannatyne, while heading towards the Rhubodach ferry terminal.
The driver of the lorry was uninjured.
By the time The Buteman arrived at the scene the lorry had been righted with the assistance of workers from the nearby Ardmaleish Boatbuilding Company and farmer Robert Reid of Ardmaleish farm. Work to remove the lorry from the beach was completed shortly before 2pm; the vehicle has been left at the side of the private road leading to the boatbuilding company’s yard.
