Bute-based charities are being invited to find out about funding opportunities with Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland.
A Skype-based advice surgery will be held on Wednesday, April 2, and the Foundation is particularly keen to hear from charities which benefit disadvantaged people in our society and are looking for funding.
Mary Craig OBE, the Foundation’s Chief Executive, said: “Our next deadline for applications is May 19 so this is the perfect opportunity for groups to get some face-to-face advice plenty of time before they apply. We’ll be able to make sure charities understand our application process as well as providing tailored advice about how each charity’s work might fit with the type of work we fund.
“Using Skype cuts down on travel time and expenses for local groups, and Third Sector Interfaces can usually help out with technology if groups don’t have access to this themselves.”
The advice surgery will provide a chance for representatives of registered charities to discuss potential projects which the Foundation may be able to support. Foundation staff will give tips on filling in the application form and advice on the kind of projects that may be funded.
One-to-one appointments can be made by calling 0131 444 4020.
