Henshelwoods Fine Foods' raspberry jam and Seville marmalade will appear on breakfast tables at the Commonwealth Games athletes' village from July 23 until August 3.

Jams and marmalades made on Bute will be supplied to athletes at next month’s Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

Henshelwoods Fine Foods’ Scottish Raspberry Jam and Seville Orange Marmalade will be on breakfast tables at the athletes’ village between July 23 and August 3.

The Commonwealth deal follows the appearance of three products from the Henshelwoods savoury range at the Scotland Food and Drink show at the London Olympics two years ago.

Set up in January 2006 and based at Barone Business Park in Rothesay, the company’s range of sweet and savoury sauces, jams and chutneys has won a host of prizes, including no fewer than eight Great Taste Awards from the Guild of Fine Food.
