As part of the Scottish International Storytelling Festival 2016, Rothesay Library is delighted to be welcoming two authors to speak at ‘Island Nights’ tomorrow evening.

Jamaican-born Amina Blackwood, and Beatriz Quintana from Cuba, will visit the island on Wednesday, October 26, as part of this year’s festival. This year’s theme – Festival of Dreams – will explore our ability to dream something different into existence, acknowledging the power of storytelling to lift you out of time and place.

The event, which starts at 7pm in Rothesay Library, is free to all but seats must be reserved. Book your spot now by contacting the staff at the library on (01700) 503266 or by emailing rothesaylibrary@argyll-bute.gov.uk.
