Fuel theft from Mount Stuart estate

A petrol container was stolen from a wooden shed in the grounds of Mount Stuart estate sometime between May 17-18.

 

Rothesay police are appealing for information after a shed in the grounds of Mount Stuart estate was broken into, and a petrol contained within was stolen.

The container held around £65 worth of fuel, and is believed to have been stolen between 9.15pm on Saturday, May 17 and 8am on Sunday, May 18.

This is the latest in a number of thefts and break-ins from the Mount Stuart estate area, and police are keen to speak to anyone who perhaps saw someone acting suspiciously in the area.
