The first concert of Bute Arts Society’s new season kicks off on Friday, October 7, with Daniel Lebhardt taking a seat at the grand piano in Trinity Church.
Daniel, a 24-year-old Hungarian pianist, has impressed audiences and critics alike with his thoughtful interpretations and outstanding virtuosity.
He started piano lessons at the age of six, and from the age of nine attended the Special School of the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest, studying with István Gulyás and Gyöngyi Keveházi.
Since 2010 he has attended the Royal Academy of Music in London where he first worked with Christopher Elton, and since 2012 has been in the studio of Pascal Nemirovski.
Friday's concert will include works by Bach, Beethoven and Brahms, and will be, undoubtedly, an excellent evening’s entertainment.
Tickets for the concert - which starts at 7.30pm - are £8 at the door, and students go free.
