Just a wee reminder that a brand-new open-air show is coming to the centre of Rothesay this Sunday (July 5).
The Magnificent Organ, an original creation by Mischief La-Bas, Scotland’s foremost street theatre company, features 30 minutes of madcap musical mayhem in a show suitable for audiences of all ages.
Inspired by European Street Organs, Spike Jones And His City Slickers and children’s TV programmes of the 1970’s, the performance combines screwball comedy and acrobatic antics, choreographed to an original musical score emanating from the monstrously magical masterpiece itself and embellished with ingenious musical instruments – plus a few other surprises too.
Mischief La-Bas is based in Glasgow and has been providing street theatre to villages, towns and cities across Scotland for over 20 years.
There are two performances in Guildford Square in Rothesay town centre this Sunday, July 5 - each lasts 30 minutes, and the curtain goes up at 12.30pm and 2pm.
We’ll see you there!
