Here’s a chance to have one last look back at a busy weekend of live music and family fun with our slideshow of pictures from the inaugural ButeFest.
In a statement on Tuesday the ButeFest team said: “The organisers of the inaugural festival would like to give a massive thank you to the enormous amount of people who attended, participated in and contributed to making the first ButeFest a success.
“Being a not for profit festival the organisers would especially like to thank those who donated their time, energy, hard earned cash, enthusiasm, materials and equipment to help make the event possible. This includes all those who helped with the site build and take down, traffic control, stewarding, staging, security, bar, site art, welfare and first aid.
“They would also like to give appreciation to the fantastic audience who came despite the wet weather and who were very understanding of the difficult conditions on Friday night.
“The organisers are incredibly proud of what they have achieved and are overwhelmed with the amount of positivity, kind words and good will they have received. They are now looking ahead to planning next year’s event.”
