The organisers of ButeFest will be holding an information night next month, enabling members of the community to find out more about how to get involved in the music festival.
The committee of ButeFest said: "We want to let our community know what ButeFest is all about, how it comes together and the various ways in which everyone can be part of the whole experience.
"The event will be an informal get-together where you'll not only be able to talk to the existing committee members, but also meet new people and enjoy the sounds of ButeFest 2015 and 2016."
If you want to help, then there are various stages in the process that you can get involved with. Ranging from attending other Festivals as a ButeFest There ambassador to marketing opportunities such as distributing flyers at local events and on the mainland.
There are various ways you can offer your support, from donating your time, putting an advert in ButeFest's programme, buying merchandise, sponsorship and of course by volunteering during the festival itself. All of this helps to ensure continued success and to bring the community together to showcase the island at its best.
To find out more head to the information night in the Isle of Bute Sailing Club on Saturday, October 1, at 7pm.
