Up-and-coming catwalk star and Bute resident Chloe Woollcott is off to Paris Fashion Week on Friday moring - and she’ll be modelling clothes from a Rothesay shop while she’s in the French capital.
Chloe is flying off to Paris with Sophie Reid, owner of The Dressing Room, as the 16-year-old’s modelling career goes from strength to strength.
“Chloe’s photographer wants to do a shoot in Paris with clothes from the shop,” Sophie told The Buteman before leaving for France.
“He asked me to put together ten ‘funky but French’ looks from the shop’s stock, and we’ll be doing the shoot on Sunday, using labels from Scandinavia, Italy and London.
“It’s a great opportunity to showcase a Bute girl and a Bute business.”
Chloe’s modelling career has come on in leaps and bounds since she won the ‘public vote’ award at the Top Model UK grand final in March 2012: since then she’s taken part in Liverpool Fashion Week, Scotland’s Top Designer, London Fashion Week and, most recently, Africa Fashion Week London.
