Bute Highland dancer Robyn Horsburgh is getting her breath back after performing at the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo for the second year running.

Robyn, a former Rothesay Academy pupil now studying in Dundee, followed up her 2012 Tattoo appearance with a successful audition for this year’s event.

“Even though I was selected last year, I still had to go through the same audition process this time,” she said.

“It’s hard work, but if you’re not willing to put in the hard work there’s no point in auditioning. If you put in the effort you get so much more out of it.”
