Ardbeg Baptist Church is gearing up to host its much-loved Christmas Coffee Morning next weekend.
Held in the church in King Street from 10am until noon on Saturday, November 28, there will be something for everyone.
Friends have been busy making jams, jellies, pickles, marmalades and ginger cordial - the perfect gift for a foodie this Christmas. Handcrafted items will also be on offer, alongside delicious home-baking including cakes, merignues, scones and pancakes.
There will also be some locally-grown holly, if our feathered friends haven’t got to it first, thatis, and the plant stall will be bursting with leafy offerings.
For those who may be visiting Ardbeg Baptist Church’s Christmas Coffee Morning for the first time, in addition to the various stalls, it’s the perfect opportunity to catch up with old and new friends over a cup of tea or coffee and a tasty treat - and all will be made very welcome.
It’s been remarked in the past that you know Christmas is on the way when the Baptist church holds its annual Christmas Coffee Morning!
Entry is priced at £2.50 for adults and £1 for children.
