Willie wins R and J Anderson Trophy at Rothesay GC

Willie Glen, Rothesay Golf Club’s hard working match secretary, won the R and J Anderson Trophy on Sunday with a fine score of 72-7=65.

Willie beat Graham Shaw 75-10=65 on count back. Darren Leonard continued his good form with a net 66 to be third. There was a good turnout of 32 players and now the season is well under way. Congratulations to Willie on his success, Rumour has it he is going on holiday this week with the sweep money paying his air fare!

Twos were scored by Ron Cuthbertson (again), Stuart Robertson, Gordon (lucky) Shaw, Frank Lee and Jack MacKirdy.

The Match Secretary has asked that all members playing in medals must enter their name on the sheet before play, in the future failure to do so will lead to disqualification. The payment of the entry money would also be a bonus.
