Twenty-one teams of four players took part in the Kenny Dickson Texas Scramble tournament at Rothesay Golf Club on Sunday.
The winners, with a score of 53.7, comprising an outward half of 28 and an inward half of 29, less 3.3 - ten per cent of the team’s combined total handicap - were Donald Standaloft, Graham Dunn, John Black and Stuart Robertson.
Runners-up on 54.8 were Iain McMurchie, Tommy Reynolds, Gordon McClean and Rory McEwan, while third place went to Roddie Shaw, Henry Tait, Sam Jamieson and Gary McGregor, who returned a score of 54.9.
Ewan McTaggart, Michael Murty, Jimmy Ewing and Willie Glen, were fourth, with only 1.7 shots separating the top four quartets.
