Tommy Reynolds won his first Rothesay Golf Club championship title on Sunday - after 30 years of trying!
Tommy secured the title with a 2 and 1 win over Rory McEwan in a keenly-contested 36-hole final.
Rory was one up after nine holes of the morning round, but Tommy recovered to go into the lunch break two holes in front.
Rory, however, fought back well and the final was all square going into the last nine holes, but Tommy won the 15th and 16th before securing the title with a good par at the penultimate hole - leaving him just ten short of brother George’s tally of Rothesay championship titles!
