The top two finishers also shared the day’s two special prizes - Billy won the Jimmy Tait Memorial Trophy for the best over-50 player, while Steve took the Sammy Tait Memorial Trophy for the best score of the day at the par three and par five holes.

The winners of Saturday’s medal competition were Graham McArthur (division one), Hughie Charker (division two) and Colin Spear (division three).
