Graham Fisher held his nerve over the second 18 holes to take the Grouse Open trophy at Port Bannatyne on Sunday. Fisher added an afternoon net 66 to his fine net score of 62 before lunch to finish with a 36-hole aggregate of 128, one ahead of runner-up Jim Bicker (63, 66).
Bute Golf Club’s Andy Docherty posted a sizzling net 61 in the afternoon to add to his morning round of 72 to take third place on the podium.
The weekend’s other major competition at the Port was won by Alex Greer junior, who secured the Ardbeg Lodge QUaich on Saturday with a net 65, two shots clear of the rest of the field.
