Rothesay Brandane battled back from behind three times to earn their first home win of the season from a seven-goal thriller on Saturday.
Chris Boyd opened the scoring for Weir in the 18th minute, and though Matthew Leitch equalised from six yards, within moments Boyd’s second had the Glasgow club back in front.
Leitch levelled for a second time less than a minute later, but Anton McGowan gave Weir the interval advantage with the visitors’ third just before the break.
Liam Tait curled a delicious free kick into the corner of the net four minutes into the second half to haul the Danes level for a third time, but this time the Rothesay men were able to remain on terms - and Chris Lawrence turned home a Leitch cross at the near post in the 61st minute for what turned out to be the winner.
