Rothesay Brandane’s 2014-15 Caledonian League campaign ended with a goalless home draw on Saturday - but the game was far from an end-of-season snorefest.
The island side dominated for long spells against Milngavie Wanderers, with their only failing being a lack of composure in front of goal.
Sean Lawrence posed a threat with which Milngavie struggled to cope throughout the afternoon, and stung the fingers of the Milngavie keeper late on with a shot which was heading for the top corner.
Both sides found the net once, but on each occasion the goal was ruled out by the referee for offside.
