Rothesay Brandane AFC are on the lookout for a new manager following Jimmy Lilley’s resignation after just one season in charge.
Lilley told the club’s AGM this week that work and family commitments meant he would be unable to devote enough time to the job for another year.
“I would find it even more tough than last season,” he said. “I’d like someone else to come in and I could maybe help them, but I’d be totally kidding myself on if I thought I could do it myself.”
The club’s pre-season training begins at the public park in Rothesay this Monday, June 30, at 6pm, while three home friendly matches have already been arranged - against Drumchapel Amateurs on July 19, Hillington Amateurs on July 26 and Gourock Amateurs on August 2.
