TRAIN services between Wemyss Bay and Glasgow Central are not likely to be affected by planned industrial action by Network Rail signalling staff this Tuesday and Wednesday, ScotRail has announced.

If the strike goes ahead as anticipated, the frequency of services on the Gourock line on February 14 and 15 will be reduced from three per hour to two, but a normal timetable is expected to operate on the Wemyss Bay service.

Services on the Cathcart Circle, Neilston, Newton, Paisley Canal, Whifflet, Barrhead and Kilmarnock lines are expected to be disrupted as a result of the industrial action.
