Past and present members of the 1st Rothesay Girls’ Brigade will celebrate the organisation’s 30th birthday at a tea party next weekend.

The party will take place on Sunday, September 30 at 12 noon in the large hall at Trinity Church, immediately after the annual enrolment service for the Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade at the church itself, and all past members are invited to come along, share their memories and join in the fun.

The first meeting of what would become the 1st Rothesay Girls’ Brigade was held on November 6, 1981, and the company was officially registered on April 5 the following year.
