Rothesay Academy pupil Beth Swan has spoken to The Buteman about her debut performance at the Celtic Connections festival.
Fourteen-year-old Beth sang four songs during a 20-minute slot on the Danny Kyle Open Stage at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow on Sunday, January 24.
“It was a brilliant opportunity,” Beth said. “Celtic Connections is so highly thought of, and everyone was really, really nice.”
Beth was one of 76 young up-and-coming musicians chosen from around three hundred applicants to perform on the Open Stage.
