Rothesay police in road traffic arrests

Police in Rothesay arrested a 26-year-old man in Rothesay shortly before midnight on Monday, April 4 on suspicion of committing a number of road traffic offences.

The man is the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal for allegedly failing to provide samples of breath and blood, failing to report a road accident, and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, olice arrested a 55-year-old man in High Street, near Rothesay Leisure Centre, at 8.30am on Wednesday, March 30 on suspicion of driving while over the alcohol limit.

The man failed a roadside breath test and is now the subject of a report to the fiscal.
