Local Highland dancer Robyn Horsburgh has spoken to The Buteman about her “magical” experience performing at Disneyland Paris.
Robyn, who describes herself as a huge Disney fan, took part in the International Gathering of Scottish Highland Dance at the world-famous theme park.
A former pupil of the Anne McIlroy School of Dance in Rothesay, Robyn won her place at the Gathering through her participation in the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo earlier this year.
“There were 44 dancers from our Tattoo team and about a hundred dancers altogether,” Robyn told The Buteman.
“It was a magical experience. To dance in front of the castle and the park’s Christmas lights was just amazing.”
