Business owners on Bute will have a chance to put their burning questions to the man in charge of economic development at Argyll and Bute Council this week.
Ferggus Murray, the authority’s head of economic development and strategic transportation, will host an informal ‘business briefing’ event at the Victoria Hotel in Rothesay this Tuesday, December 15, from 12 noon to 1.30pm.
Mr Murray will use the event - one of a series being held throughout the council area - to outline the authority’s attempts to persuade more people to come to Argyll and Bute to live, invest and base their business in the area.
Small and medium-sized business owners will also have the opportunity to raise any issues that have an impact upon their business, while the council’s own Business Gateway team will also attend to talk about the support they can offer to new and existing businesses.
Entry to Tuesday’s event is free, but the Business Gateway team have asked those interested in coming along to contact them in advance on firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling (01546) 604555.
