The annual Port Bannatyne Gala Day takes place this weekend, with fun for all the family planned.
Held in the village park on Sunday, June 5 from 12-4pm, there will be plenty of activities to keep young ones entertained from bouncy castles to face painting. Older visitors might enjoy browsing the various stalls lining the park, and as in previous years there will be fantastic live entertainment on the stage.
The much-loved dog show will see entrants and their pooches hoping to leave the park with a rosette, and it wouldn’t be a Port Gala Day without the traditional tug-of-war competition!
A free bus will run from Guildford Square to Port Bannatyne throughout the day, and with sunny skies forecast it looks set to be another fantastic event.
