North Bute Primary asks for your help in playground refurb

North Bute Primary School and Bute Forest are asking for the island’s help in making improvements to their playground at the Port Bannatyne school.

Starting on Monday, July 8, and running for around two weeks, the parent council and Bute Community Forest will be constructing various structures for the children to play on, and Emma Cooper from Bute Forest has said: “We are looking for any help to support this work. Whether you can only spare an hour or dedicate a week - your help is needed. We need people who are handy to help build fences and other wood-working projects. We need people who can boil a kettle and make a sandwich. We need people who can help with tidying up.”

Children are welcome to attend but must be supervised by an adult.
