McGill’s have launched a new mobile service alerts service for its customers. The new service to mobiles will be used by the team at McGill’s to keep their passengers right up-to-date with the latest service news that might impact on their journey with the company.
Isabelle Murray, McGill’s marketing and communications manager commented: “We are delighted to offer this free and eary-to-use service to our passengers. It will allow us to keep our customers in the loop about any road diversion, accident or traffic congestion that may affect their journey with us. Customers can check the updates at the bus stop, or before they leave the house or office to catch their bus.”
She added: “Once a passenger has the alerts system on their mobile phone, they can choose to simplu scroll through the updates for information that might affect their journey. Or, if they are a regular customer of a particular service, they can choose to filter the feed, and to only see alerts relating to their bus.”
To use the service, simply visit www.mcgillsmobile.co.uk from your mobile. iPhone users should select ‘add to home screen’, Blackberry and other phone types should choose to ‘bookmark this page’.
