Rothesay Library will be closed to the public for one week, from Monday, May 7 until Tuesday, May 15, for the installation of new windows.

The replacement of the windows is the last piece in the jigsaw of improvements to the facility in Stuart Street, following the spending of £130,000 over the last two years on a comprehensive internal refurbishment and on making the roof of the 1970s building watertight.

The library will also be closed to the public on Thursday, May 3 because of the local government elections.
