Larking about with Llamas

Body of a sheep, neck of a giraffe, ears of a donkey - there’s no other way to put it, that’s the reaction I first felt when I stood in front of Sophie and Stuart Reid’s llamas Spot, Sonny and Cher.

The obvious question perhaps is why llamas? Stuart told us: “I’ve always liked them, we’ve got the ground for them and thought we’d give it a try.

“It’s been brilliant for the tourists - tour buses are constantly stopping at the top of the road to have a look, and we’ve seen them feeding the llamas carrots.

“If I charged a pound a go, I’d be a rich man!”
