The Bute Community Land Company will hold its annual general meeting at the Bute Museum in Rothesay this week.
The meeting takes place on Wednesday, February 17 at 6.30pm.
BCLC is currently seeking planning permission from Argyll and Bute Council to build a cafe and meeting centre along with ‘glamping’ accommodation for up to 30 people on land at the north end of the island.
The company plans to seek financial support from the Big Lottery Fund for the development if and when planning permission is granted.
BCLC wants to build the facilities near the southern entrance to the 161-hectare Rhubodach forest, purchased in a community buy-out in 2010.
