A Rothesay service for adults with learning disabilities has shown further significant improvement, according to a new report.
The Phoenix Centre has been given three ‘very good’ gradings and one ‘good’ rating following a short notice inspection by the Care Inspectorate in March.
The latest report is evidence of further progress at the centre, which is run by Argyll and Bute Council, after a January 2013 inspection resulted in the issuing of four ‘weak’ grades.
Local councillor Len Scoullar said: “The staff there deserve great credit. The centre has come a long, long way in the last two years.”
