A new ‘Pram to Primary’ parenting course will kick off in Rothesay later this month.
The course is part of a 4Ts programme - 4Ts standing for ‘today’s tots, tomorrow’s teens’ - and is run jointly by NHS Highland and Argyll and Bute Council, along with local voluntary organisations.
The course begins on Wednesday, January 16 and runs weekly for seven weeks, offering parents and carers the opportunity to take time out of their day to think about some of the pleasures and challenges being a parent can bring.
The programme is well used and respected by parents all over Scotland and the UK, and is aimed at parents or carers of children aged 0-5 years old.
You do not need to be having problems with your child to come on this course and the focus is on solutions and communication not problems. It is free of charge and there is a free creche and refreshments.
If you would like more information or to book a place on the course please contact your health visiting team on 01700 501545.
