Bute resident Jean Kennedy was one of several NHS staff who received long service awards recently to mark the length of time they have spent in providing health services for communities across Argyll and Bute.
Jean, NHS Highland’s locality lead speech and language therapist, received a certificate marking her 20 years of service from Robin Creelman, the chairman of the Argyll and Bute Community Health Partnership, at a ceremony in Oban.
Mr Creelman said: “I would like to thank all of our staff across Argyll and Bute for their hard work and commitment to delivering local health services that we can be proud of.
“I was especially pleased to recently have the opportunity to present a number of these staff with an award to mark their many years of service to the NHS.
“They do a great job for their local communities and I was really delighted to be able to recognise them for their achievement.”
