Harry Emery received a small gift this week to mark his 50 years of active involvement in the life of Trinity Parish Church in Rothesay.

Harry was ordained as an elder at Trinity by the Rev James Weatherhead - later to become Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland - and half a century later, Harry is still actively involved in all the church’s business, with the support of his wife Annie.

Harry was presented with a gift from Trinity’s present-day minister, the Rev Andrew Barrie, on Sunday, September 15 to mark the occasion.
