visitBute held a presentation and networking evening in Rothesay Pavilion on Thursday evening, providing an opportunity for members and interested parties to find out more about what the organisation has planned for 2013.
Following a brief introduction by Jean Moffat, those in attendance were invited to visit the various stalls around the Pavilion’s cafe and speak with those directly involved in the company, including Bute’s tourism officer Leo Plaster and local development officer Nina Graham.
An ideas tree in the corner of the cafe allowed the opportunity for anyone and everyone to write down their thoughts and suggestions and hang them upon the branches, with the directors collecting them in at the end of the night.
A slideshow played throughout the duration, highlighting visitBute’s intentions for the coming year, including using the ‘blue space’ information as part of the organisation’s promotions, continuing the development of the website with online advertising campaigns,as well as the re-distribution of the brochures with updates and new events.
