St Andrew’s Primary School hold Burns Supper

The primary seven pupils of St Andrew’s Primary School held a Burns Supper on Friday afternoon.

Invited guests included Provost Len Scoullar, Fr. Michael Hutson, Councillor Isobel Strong, and Mr Jim Bicker. Mr Bicker, who is no stranger to Burns Suppers, provided the Address to the Haggis, and it was clear from the faces on the children that the delivery of this iconic poem was thoroughly enjoyed.

The pupils helped to run the afternoon’s proceedings, from announcing the next speaker, to serving guests with their haggis, neeps and tatties - or glass of diet Irn Bru!
