Domestic care service survey on Bute

A survey is being carried out on Bute to see if there is a need for a local organisation providing basic domestic care services on the island.

The community interest company SKS Scotland has set up a brief online survey to assess the level of need for such a service, on Bute and possibly also the wider Argyll area.

The survey asks whether respondents would use services such as basic cleaning, basic food preparation, shopping, laundry, gardening, how often such a service would be used and how much respondents would be prepared to pay.

SKS Scotland, which provides services and business support to charities, third sector and private organisations to help develop their long-term sustainability, is working with the Argyll and Bute Social Enterprise Network (ABSEN) on the project, which is being partly financed by the Scottish Government and the European Leader funding programme for Argyll and the Islands.
