Time is running out to cast your vote for Calum’s Cabin as the Bute charity competes for a prestigious National Lottery award.
Calum’s Cabin is competing with six other projects from across the UK for the title of Best Health Project – the only Scottish project in the category - and the deadline to cast your vote is Wednesday, July 24.
Set up by the family of 12-year-old Calum Speirs following his passing from an inoperable brain tumour, Calum’s Cabin provides two holiday homes on Bute which offer families of children suffering from cancer the chance to have a holiday together.

Jackie O’Sullivan from The National Lottery Awards said: “I would like to congratulate Calum’s Cabin on reaching the finals of the National Lottery Awards which is a fantastic achievement in its own right.
“Their place in the top seven is thoroughly deserved and their work is a shining example of how National Lottery funding can have an amazing positive impact on people from all walks of life.”
Votes can be registered for Calum’s Cabin before midnight on July 24; winners will be presented with their award and a £2,000 cash prize at a star-studded ceremony to be broadcast on BBC One in September.
