Court: Glasgow woman is jailed for Rothesay assault

A Glasgow woman currently serving a custodial sentence was given a further 60-day jail term at Rothesay Sheriff Court on Monday.

The court heard Fitzpatrick’s victim had sustained brusing around her eye and had injured the back of her head and her lower back as a result of the incident.

* Theresa Thomson (41), address given as 15 Columshill Terrace, Rothesay, was given a second chance in court on Monday after admitting breaching the terms of a probation order by failing to attend meetings with a supervisor on eight separate occasions.

Sheriff Ruth Anderson imposed a fresh two-year probation order and asked for a review in six months’ time.
