All council offices, libraries, museums and community facilities across Argyll and Bute will close for the festive season at 5pm on Thursday, December 24.
Council premises will reopen at 9am on Tuesday, January 5, 2016.
A limited telephone service will be available for the following services from 9am to 5pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of next week (December 29, 30 and 31):

(* The Scottish Welfare Fund team will only be available on Tuesday, December 29 and Wednesday, December 30 between 10am and 3pm, and on Thursday, December 31 between 10am and 2pm.)

If you need to contact the council by telephone during the holiday period and are not sure what number to use, the switchboard/general enquiries line – 01546 605522 – has recorded information to help you find what you are looking for.
The council’s website can be used as normal for reporting issues, making payments and sending enquiries. However, no action may be taken on some matters, like validation of planning applications and the processing of applications, until council offices fully reopen on Tuesday 5th January 2016.
