Bute producer’s fare used by top chef

A LOCAL business had their produce used by a top Michelin star chef at the Dîner des Grands World Culinary Tour in London.

Iain McKellar of Just Seaweed told us that Andrew Fairlie, two-time Michelin star chef from Gleneagles, made a dish from Mull scallops, using seawood of Iain’s.

Forty-five grands chefs from all over the world joined forces for the exquisite gastronomic journey inspired by the best British produce.

Iain told us that Andrew had tweeted him after the event to say that the dish had been a great success, and that the Japanese chefs- who pride themselves on their use of seaweed - were jealous!
