The Bute branch of the Royal British Legion of Scotland and VisitBute teamed up, as they did at Christmas, and held an Easter Market in Guildford Square on Saturday afternoon.

There was a wide variety of stallholders at the event, selling all kinds of products from freshly baked cupcakes to hand-crafted jewellery, home furnishings to clothing.

The delicious smell of hot food wafted from Kingarth hotel’s marquee, while youngsters were getting their hands sticky with bundles of candyfloss.

As if that wasn’t enough, the Easter bunny even made an appearance at the market, happily posing for photos with children.
