Bute brothers shine as Scots lift Homeless World Cup

TWO brothers from Rothesay are on top of the world this Monday after they and their Scotland team-mates lifted the Homeless World Cup in Paris.

Sean and William Lawrence both played key roles as the Scots lifted the trophy with a 4-3 win over Mexico in Sunday’s final.It’s not the first time Rothesay has boasted Homeless World Cup winners - local resident John McBride was a member of the Scots team which lifted the trophy in Copenhagen in 2007.
